UNCTAD Praises Egyptian ICT Sector- Cairo, 27 October 2011
For the first time, 2011 has witnessed the inclusion of Egypt in the OECD Statistical profile in Paris, June 2011

In the context of “Measuring Foreign Direct Investments in Egypt's ICT sector” project, the multinational companies working in the ICT sector in Egypt were invited on Monday the 20th of December 2010 to meet the international expert Mr. Geoffrey Robertson who is responsible for this project.
Dr. Nagwa El-Shenawy, manager of MCIT's Information Center has participated in the conference organized by The International Business Information Management Association (IBIMA)- November 2010

“Mr. Matthew Powell”, the international consultant in the area of pricing and formulating price indices has visited Egypt during the period (31st October – 4th November) in a mission related to the “composite price index of communication services in Egypt
MCIT information center attended a lecture through Video Conference given by the World Bank to explore the Bank's database for indicators “World Development Indicators”, which has been enhanced in 2010(October 2010)
Mr. Carlo Rossotto, regional coordinator of the World Bank to the Middle East and North Africa has given a lecture to MCIT Information Center team about “Measuring Market Concentration… Theory and Cases in Telecommunication”( September 2010).
Egypt has participated effectively in ITU regional project for capacity building for ICT measurement for Arab region held in Amman –Jordan Sep.2010:
